Financing
You know which cells of the plan grid you can type in, how to move through a row, fold countries away and find a row with Search.
The financing grid shows a plan row by row: countries, the groups in them, the sources in each group and the installments of each source. You type the names, amounts and statuses, and KOSMA calculates the totals and shares.
You type in three columns. In **Description**, you enter the name of a country, group or source. In **Amount** and **Status**, you enter the amount and status of a source. The currency has no column of its own: when you edit **Amount**, a currency dropdown appears next to the amount. On a source row, you can also type the **No.**: double-click the cell or press `Enter` on it. You cannot type in installment rows. On a subtotal row, the **Amount** cell holds the subtotal's name, and you rename the subtotal there; see [add a subtotal after a source](/kb/article/add-a-subtotal-after-a-source).
KOSMA fills in **Total**, **Received**, the two share columns and **Source Details**. You cannot type in these cells.
Press `Tab` to move from **Description** to **Amount** to **No.** and back to **Description**. `Tab` stays in the same row and skips the cells you cannot type in. It does not reach **Status**; to set a status, double-click the **Status** cell, or select it and press `Enter`. If you press `Enter` on a cell you cannot type in, KOSMA opens the row's **Description** for editing.
Click the arrow beside a country or a group to fold its rows away, and click it again to show them. To fold or unfold the whole plan at once, click  **Collapse all** or  **Expand all** in the toolbar, or press ⌘⇧← or ⌘⇧→ (Ctrl+Shift+← or Ctrl+Shift+→).
The **Search...** box is at the top of the details panel. When you type part of a name, KOSMA lists the matching countries, groups, sources and installments of the open plan. Click one, and KOSMA scrolls to that row and selects it. Search never hides a row.
Whether you can click a toolbar button that adds a row depends on the row you have selected:

Select exactly one row before you click one of these buttons. With no row or several rows selected, all four stay greyed out. **Subtotal** also stays greyed out on a source that already has a subtotal. If every button that changes the plan is greyed out, the plan is locked for editing, for example because your licence does not cover Financing or the plan is shared with you read-only. When you point at a greyed-out button, its tooltip names the reason. If your licence does not cover Financing, it reads:
You don't have editing access to this module with your licence. Upgrade your licence — or ask your team admin, if your licence comes from a team.
If the plan was shared with you read-only, it reads:
This dataset was shared with you and cannot be edited. To make changes, create a copy.

When you select a source, the details panel shows its details. When you select an installment, the panel shows the details of its source. With a country or a group selected, the panel has no source to show, and its controls are greyed out. For what the panel contains, see [how source details work](/kb/article/how-source-details-work).
