Budgeting
You can bring back a hidden panel, change the interface language, scale the window, and use the keyboard shortcuts that exist today.
Everything on this page lives in the **View** menu, except the shortcuts.
**View ▸ Details Panels** opens the panel-visibility dialog, where you turn the account-details panels on and off. If a panel you expect has vanished from the details column, this is where it went — nothing removes a panel permanently.
This is separate from choosing which **columns** the grid shows; see [choosing and arranging grid columns](/kb/article/choose-and-arrange-grid-columns) for that.
**View ▸ Language** lists the available languages, each written in its own language rather than translated — so you can find your own without reading the current one. Pick one and the interface switches.
This changes the **interface**, not your budget. Account names, notes and everything else you have typed stay exactly as you wrote them.
**View** also carries the standard zoom controls:
| Command | Shortcut | | ------------- | -------- | | Zoom In | `⌘ +` | | Zoom Out | `⌘ −` | | Original Size | `⌘ 0` |
Zoom scales the whole window — grid, panels and menus together. It is a display setting: nothing about the budget changes, and it does not affect printing.
**Help ▸ Keyboard Shortcuts** opens kosma.io/shortcuts in your browser. These are the shortcuts that work today, ahead of an in-app reference.
| Action | Shortcut | | ------------------------------- | --------------------- | | Undo | `⌘ Z` | | Redo | `⇧ ⌘ Z` | | Cut | `⌘ X` | | Copy | `⌘ C` | | Paste | `⌘ V` | | Select All | `⌘ A` | | Cycle editable columns in a row | `Tab` / `⇧ Tab` | | Open the description to edit | `⏎` | | Save | `⌘ S` | | Print | `⌘ P` | | Close window | `⌘ W` | | Zoom In / Out / Original Size | `⌘ +` · `⌘ −` · `⌘ 0` |
Undo and redo are worth knowing well: KOSMA records every inline edit, so `⌘ Z` walks back through them one at a time. Note that a bulk command like [Renumber Budget Items](/kb/article/clear-and-renumber-a-budget) takes several presses to unwind, because it changed several rows.
On Windows, use `Ctrl` wherever this page says `⌘`.
