Financing
You know what Pending, Submitted and Confirmed mean and how the three status totals add up to the Financing Total.
The status of a source says how certain its money is. You choose it in the **Status** column of the source's row: **Pending**, **Submitted** or **Confirmed**. On installment rows, the **Status** cell stays empty, and you cannot change it.

A new source has no status yet. KOSMA shows it as **Pending** and counts it as **Pending** in every total.
The rail next to the grid shows one total for each status: **Confirmed**, **Submitted** and **Pending**. Each source adds the same amount to its status total as to the **Financing Total**. The three status totals therefore always add up to the **Financing Total**. In the rail below, for the Demo Project's plan, **Confirmed** shows 1,162,622.15, **Submitted** 150,000.00 and **Pending** 95,000.00. Together that is 1,407,622.15 EUR, the plan's **Financing Total**.
KOSMA leaves a deactivated source out of the **Financing Total**, the three status totals and **Received**. The same applies to a source in a deactivated group or country. **Confirmed** does not mean that the money has been paid. **Received** follows the payment dates in the source's cash-flow rule, not its status. Changing the status does not change **Received**, and **Received** does not change the status. A **Confirmed** source shows nothing under **Received** until its first payment date has passed. In the Demo Project, *Distributor MG* is **Submitted** and already has an amount under **Received**.
