First Steps
You can upgrade your licence and get KOSMA to notice, without restarting or signing out.
It sits in the licence panel at the bottom of the Project Manager.
Your browser opens on the KOSMA site.
The licence panel updates itself. **No restart, and no signing out** — returning to the app is what triggers it to check.
That last step is the one worth knowing, because the natural reaction to a panel that still says *Free* is to quit and relaunch. You do not have to; give the window a moment after you come back to it.
**If the panel still shows the old tier.** - Make sure the upgrade actually completed in the browser, rather than being left on a payment page. - Click into the KOSMA window so it regains focus — that is the moment it re-checks. - Check you upgraded the same account you are signed in with here.
**Why the upgrade is not in the app.** Licences are handled on the website, which is also where your account lives. The app shows you which licence you have and sends you to the right page to change it; it does not sell or manage them itself.
**Account Admin**, also in the Project Manager, opens your KOSMA account page in the browser. Like the upgrade link, it needs a connection: offline or in local-only mode it is greyed out, with a tooltip saying which of the two you are in.
**Your account is not KOSMA's to edit.** The app knows who you are signed in as and which licence that carries; your details, your sign-in credentials and the account itself are managed on the website. The app's part is short — it shows you who you are, opens the right page, and picks up the change when you come back.
