First Steps
You can put the demo project back to its original version and know what the reset deletes.
After you have tried things out in the demo project, a reset returns it to its original version. It works with any licence, including Free; see [what your licence includes](/kb/article/what-your-licence-includes).
A reset deletes every budget, financing plan, cash flow plan and cost control set in the demo project, including the ones you added yourself. It cannot be undone.
In the demo project, click **Reset** at the bottom of the left rail, in any module. KOSMA opens the dialog **Reset demo project**.
Click **Reset**. KOSMA replaces the demo project's data with the original: the budgets **Demo Feature** and **How KOSMA Calculates**, a financing plan, two cash flow plans and a cost control set. **Cancel** leaves the demo project as it is.
**If you are looking for the reset in the Project Manager.** The Project Manager has no reset. Open the demo project and use **Reset** in its left rail (step 1). You cannot rename the demo project or invite anyone to it, so its settings there offer only **Archive Project**; see [archive and restore a project](/kb/article/archive-and-restore-a-project).
**If the demo project on another computer still shows changes.** Each computer has its own demo project, so a reset changes it only on that computer.
