Cash Flow
You can produce a PDF of the plan for people who will never open KOSMA.
**Print Cash Flow Plan** produces the PDF that goes to a bank, a fund or a financing meeting.
The printout follows what the plan is showing, so the decisions are made before you open the dialog:
- **the period** — Monthly, almost always, for anything going outside; - **the budget detail level** — Category, for the same reason; - **the display currency** — the recipient's; - **combined or separate companies** — combined for the film, separate for a partner.
A weekly plan at group level prints to many pages and is read by nobody — see [choose the budget detail level](/kb/article/choose-the-budget-detail-level).
| Field | What it is | | --------------- | ---------------------------------------- | | **Title** | defaults to the budget name — change it | | **Paper Size** | | | **Orientation** | landscape suits a plan with many periods |
Then **Open PDF** to check it, or **Save PDF** to keep it.
**Give it a real title.** *Cash flow — financing application, March 2027* is worth far more on a desk than the budget's name, especially when three versions of the plan are circulating.
Open the PDF rather than saving it blind, and check two things:
- **the periods fit** — a plan that runs off the page is the commonest printing problem, and the fix is a coarser period or landscape; - **the trough is visible** — the deepest point of the cumulated row is what the document is for, and it needs to be on the page you expect somebody to look at.
A PDF is a fixed record of what you sent, which is what you want for anything external. A share is live.
For a bank or a fund, print. For a colleague, share — see [share a cash flow plan](/kb/article/share-a-cash-flow-plan).
