Open project settingsFirst StepsYou can open the settings of a project you own, rename the project and find out why the button for the settings is missing on some rows.In **Project Settings**, you rename a project you own. Open the project's settingsIn the projects list, click ![Gear](https://zpnbnjvhklgxfhsoczbp.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/help-assets/icons/gear.svg) **Open Settings** in the project's row. KOSMA opens **Project Settings**.On the demo project, the settings offer only **Archive Project**. Its name cannot be changed, and it has no guests and no **Delete Project**. See [archive and restore a project](/kb/article/archive-and-restore-a-project).2. Rename the projectIn the name field, replace the old name with the new one. If you leave the field empty and click outside it, KOSMA enters "New Project" in it.3. Save the changesClick **Ok**. To discard your changes, click **Cancel** or close the dialog.**If the row has no settings button.** You are a **Guest** on the project. Only its owner can open the project settings.
