Open a projectFirst StepsYou can open a project in its own window and have several projects open at the same time.You open each project in its own window from the Project Manager.1. Open the projectIf the list is long, type the project name in **Search…**. Click ![Open](../../../../src/client/ui/assets/icons/open.svg) **Open project** in the project's row, or double-click the row. KOSMA opens a new window for the project and shows the budget that was last open in it. The Project Manager stays open in the background.2. Open more projectsSwitch back to the Project Manager window and open the next project the same way. If you open a project that is already open, KOSMA brings its window to the front.If KOSMA shows the New Budget dialogThe project has no budget yet. To create the first budget, see [create a budget from a template](/kb/article/create-a-budget-from-a-template).**If you have no connection.** KOSMA opens a project you have already opened on this computer, even without a connection.
