Manage financing plansFinancingYou can open, copy, reorder, sync and delete plans from one place, and read which budget each is linked to.A project accumulates plans — one per financing round, one per budget version. **Financing Plans** is where they are all visible at once.Open it from **Manage Financing Plans** in the plan dropdown.What the list tells you| Column | Why you look at it | | ------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Name** | what you called it | | **Comment** | why this one exists | | **Linked to** | **the budget or cost control set it reads** — the column to check first | | **Modified** | when it last changed | | **Server** | its sync state | | **Shared** | who it has been shared with, and how |*Linked to* is the one worth the habit. A plan whose totals look wrong is very often a plan linked to a different budget than the one you have in mind.What you can do to a plan- **Open** it. - **Copy** it — including onto a different budget — see [copy a financing plan](/kb/article/copy-a-financing-plan). - **Drag** to reorder. The order is yours; it has no effect on any total. - **Sync** one plan, or **Update All** to bring every dataset in line at once. - **Delete** it.Deleting asks onceDeleting asks *Are you sure you want to delete this financing plan?* — and that confirmation is the whole of the ceremony. Treat it as final.If you are unsure, copy the plan first. A spare plan costs nothing, and a financing round you can still open is worth more than the tidiness of deleting it — see [copy a financing plan](/kb/article/copy-a-financing-plan).Sync states in plain wordsThe **Server** column reads in sentences rather than codes. All nine states, and what each one means, are listed once in [how your work is saved and synced](/kb/article/how-your-work-is-saved-and-synced) — this article does not repeat them.The two to act on are **Version conflict**, which means the same plan changed in two places, and **Upload failed**, which means your work is still only local.Markdown
