Financing
You can see the financing plans of every budget in the project in one dialog, and open, rename, reorder, copy and delete the plans of the budget you are working in.
**Financing Plans** lists the financing plans of every budget in the project. To open the dialog, choose **Manage Financing Plans** in the plan dropdown in Financing.
The list **Root Budgets** shows every budget of the project, and the budget you are working in is selected. KOSMA dims a budget that has no financing plan. When you select a budget, the grid shows its plans. **You can** shows your access to each plan, **edit** or **view**. **Last change** shows when the plan last changed and who changed it.
You can only open the plans of another budget here. When you click  **Open plan** on one of them, KOSMA opens the plan and switches to its budget. To see which budget a plan is linked to, open the plan. See [how a plan links to a budget](/kb/article/how-a-plan-links-to-a-budget).
Renaming, reordering, copying and deleting need the **Production** licence or a running **Trial**. With any other licence, KOSMA greys these controls out. You can still open and read the plans. The same applies to a plan shared with you for reading only. See [what your licence includes](/kb/article/what-your-licence-includes).
For the plans of the budget you are working in:
- To open a plan, click  **Open plan** in its row. - To rename a plan or change its comment, click in its **Name** or **Comment** cell and type. Each name can appear only once in the list. - To reorder the list, drag a row by  **Drag to reorder**. The new order applies only in this dialog. The plan dropdown always lists the most recently changed plan first. - To copy a plan, for example onto another budget, click  **Copy Financing Plan**. See [create a financing plan](/kb/article/create-a-financing-plan). - To change the status of a plan or lock it, open the plan and use the dropdown after **Status:** at the bottom of the left rail. **Status** shows the status of every plan as text. A plan that you locked with **Lock** also shows a padlock  beside its status.
While you rename a plan or change its comment, nobody else can edit that plan's row in **Financing Plans**. If another person is already editing it, KOSMA closes the cell, discards what you typed and shows who it is:
{name} is editing this row.
If the budget you are working in is shared, KOSMA also closes the cell when there is no connection to the project.
Click  **Delete plan** in the plan's row. KOSMA opens **Delete Financing Plan**.
Deleting a financing plan also deletes its cash flow plans.
Click **Delete**. To undo the deletion, press ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) before you close the project, even while **Financing Plans** is still open: KOSMA restores the plan together with its cash flow plans.
