Financing
You know how to export a financing plan as an Excel file, what each column holds and what the file leaves out.
The export saves a financing plan as an Excel file with one row per source. You can send it to a financier, an accountant or a co-producer who does not work in KOSMA.
With a plan open in Financing, choose **Export Data** in the **Project** menu. KOSMA opens your computer's save dialog and suggests the plan's name as the file name, with the extension .xlsx. If no plan is open, **Export Data** is greyed out. KOSMA shows no message after it has saved the file.
The file has one worksheet, named *Financing* in every language.
The columns appear in this order, with the headers in your KOSMA language.

Each source is one row, in the order of the grid. Countries, groups, installments and totals have no rows of their own. Deactivated sources appear in the file like active ones, with no mark.
If you have not set a status for a source, its **Status** cell stays empty, even though the grid shows **Pending** for it.
**Amount in display currency** is not **Amount** converted with **Currency rate**. It shows a value stored with the source. For a source you added in KOSMA 3, it shows 0. For a source from KOSMA 2, it shows the value from KOSMA 2, even if you have changed the amount since. The sources of the demo project also show a stored value, which does not change when you change the amount.
An **Amount** entered as a formula goes into the file as its result, never as the formula. If the formula has no result, or the source has no **Amount**, the file shows 0. To see in the grid which **Amount** cells hold a formula, click  in the toolbar. See [switch between values and formulas](/kb/article/switch-between-financing-values-and-formulas).
The file has no columns for the number, company, effect, tax, cash flow rule, tags, notes or attachments of a source. It also has no percentage shares and no received amounts.
If the recipient needs the installments, or a plan without the deactivated sources, print the plan instead. In the **Project** menu, choose **Print…**. In the print dialog, **Installments** adds the installments. KOSMA prints deactivated sources only if you tick **Deactivated Funds**. See [print a financing plan](/kb/article/print-a-financing-plan).
