Financing
You know what deleting a country, group or source removes, and what Clear Financing Plan Data removes and keeps.
Deleting a country, group or source removes it together with everything beneath it. **Clear Financing Plan Data** empties a whole plan and keeps all its rows. To delete a plan itself, see [manage financing plans](/kb/article/manage-financing-plans).
Select a country, group or source and click  **Delete**. KOSMA first asks you to confirm in the **Delete selected** dialog.
For a country, KOSMA asks:
Are you sure you want to delete country "{name}"? Any groups, sources and installments below it are removed too.
For a group, KOSMA asks:
Are you sure you want to delete group "{name}"? Any sources and installments below it are removed too.
For a source, KOSMA asks:
Are you sure you want to delete source "{name}"? Any installments below it are removed too.
If the source has a subtotal row, KOSMA deletes that row too. You can undo a deletion with ⌘Z.
Select an installment and click  **Delete**. KOSMA deletes nothing and opens **Set Cash Flow Rule – Installments** for the installment's source. You delete the installment there, see [add installments to a source](/kb/article/add-installments-to-a-source).
To empty a plan, choose **Clear Financing Plan Data** in the **Edit** menu. KOSMA asks first:
This clears the amount and removes installments on all {count} financing plan item(s). Names and all other details are kept. Continue?
The number counts every source with an amount and every installment.
KOSMA removes:
- the **Amount** of every source, including its formula - every installment, including its schedule, tags and attachments
KOSMA keeps every country, group and source with:
- its name and number - its currency and status - its company, effect and tax (panels in **Source Details**) - its own cash flow rule - its own notes, tags and attachments
**Received** shows how much of a source's amount has already come in. If a source had installments, KOSMA counted those. After clearing, it uses the source's own cash flow rule once you enter a new amount.
To bring back all amounts and installments, choose **Undo** in the **Edit** menu or press ⌘Z. KOSMA undoes the whole clearing in one step.
