Financing
You can take a source, a group or a country out of the plan's totals without deleting it, and bring it back later.
Deactivate a source, a group or a country when its amount must not count in the plan's totals. The row stays in the plan with its amount and details, and KOSMA shows it dimmed. You need the financing plan open.
Select one or several sources, one group or one country. To select several sources, hold Cmd, Ctrl or Shift while you click. Then click  **Deactivate**. When you deactivate a group, every source in it stops counting as well. When you deactivate a country, its groups and their sources stop counting. If you select an installment, KOSMA selects its source, and **Deactivate** applies to the whole source. KOSMA saves the setting with the plan, and you can undo it like any other change.
Select the deactivated row and click  **Activate**. The button shows this label while the selected row is itself deactivated. When you reactivate a group or a country, KOSMA returns every row in it to the state it had before. A source you deactivated on its own stays deactivated. When you select a row that is dimmed only because its group or country is deactivated, the button still reads **Deactivate**. To bring such a row back, select its group or country and click **Activate**.
KOSMA leaves deactivated rows out of the totals of their group and country, the **Financing Total** row, the [grand totals](/kb/article/read-the-financing-grand-totals) and both share columns,  and . KOSMA also leaves them out of a printout, unless you tick **Deactivated Funds** in the print dialog (see [print a financing plan](/kb/article/print-a-financing-plan)).
A deactivated source still shows its own amount, total and share percentages. KOSMA now calculates the percentages from the reduced totals (see [show country and total shares](/kb/article/show-country-and-total-shares)). A deactivated group or country shows a total of 0.00, and the share cells of a deactivated country stay empty.
A subtotal row, the **Received** percentage of a group or country, and the Excel export still count a deactivated source.
