Copy and reorder financing rowsFinancingYou can restructure a plan by dragging, and you know exactly what a copied row leaves behind.Dragging moves and re-parentsGrab a row by its handle — *Click and hold to move* — and drop it where it belongs.A drag does two things at once: it reorders, and it **re-parents**. Drop a source under a different group and it now belongs to that group; drop it under a group in another country and its money moves into that country's band and out of the old one.That is the quick way to correct a plan that was organised wrongly, and the quick way to change the totals by accident. Copy a group and you get the group with its sources and their installments. The clipboard takes the row and everything beneath it.What a copy carries — and what it does notWithin the same plan, a copied source keeps its name, amount and formula, currency, status, notes, tags and attachments.**It does not keep its company, effect, tax or cash-flow rule** — and it does not keep its number, so a pasted row is renumbered.| Carried | Not carried | | ------------------------- | -------------- | | name | number | | amount, including formula | company | | currency | effect | | status | tax | | notes, tags, attachments | cash-flow rule |Why that matters more than it looksTwo of those omissions are quiet:- **No cash-flow rule means nothing counts as received.** A duplicated source is unscheduled, so it contributes nothing to Received until you schedule it. - **No tax and no company** means the row is money from nobody, treated as nothing — easy to miss when the Amount and Total both look right.Copy a source when you want to duplicate the *money*, then re-open its detail panels and fill the rest back in — see [how source details work](/kb/article/how-source-details-work).Between plans it is the same, and worseThe same losses apply when pasting into another plan, and there the missing details are usually the ones you were trying to move.
