You see whether a budget is on the server, and you know what to do when KOSMA cannot send it.
Other people and your other computer get only what is on the server. Check this above all before you share a budget or go on working on another computer.
Open the budget dropdown in the left rail. If there is an orange dot after a budget's name, your latest changes are not on the server yet. Without a dot, everything is on the server. For the open budget, the dot also shows on the closed dropdown. It usually goes away about a second after your last change.
Point at the dot. If KOSMA is still sending the budget, it reads **Not on the server yet**. If sending failed and KOSMA will try again by itself, it reads **Saved locally — sync failed, will retry.** In both cases you do not have to do anything. If the connection is lost, KOSMA sends the budget as soon as it is back.
Then the message that appears when you point at the dot gives the reason. Your changes stay on this computer, and KOSMA no longer sends them by itself:
- Your licence does not cover the module: upgrade your licence, see [upgrade your licence](/kb/article/upgrade-your-licence). If your licence comes from a team, ask your team admin. - The budget is shared with you to view only: ask the person who created it, or the project owner, for **Can edit**. - You no longer have access to the budget: your changes since you lost access stay on this computer for now, see the warning below.
As soon as your licence covers the module or you have **Can edit**, KOSMA sends the budget with your next change.
If a budget is shared with you again after you lost access, KOSMA replaces the budget on this computer with the budget of the person who shares it. Your changes from the time without access are then lost.
**If the Budgets Manager shows "Not uploaded".** In the **Budgets Manager**, the **Status** column shows **Not uploaded** when a budget never reached the server or sending failed. Click **retry** to send it again. If it reads **Not uploaded · refused**, the server refuses the budget every time, for one of the reasons above.
