Financing
You can add countries, groups and sources to a financing plan, and you know why a button in the toolbar is greyed out.
A financing plan has four levels: countries, groups in a country, sources in a group and installments in a source. You add each level with its button in the Financing toolbar. A plan you create without a template already contains one country, one group and one source: Country 1, New Group and New Source.
Which button you can click depends on the one row you have selected. You can click **Country** whenever a plan is open.

If you select several rows, you can click only **Country**. A greyed-out button does not show which row is missing. Select a row as the table shows, and you can click the button.
Each time you add a country, group or source, KOSMA renumbers the whole plan and replaces any number you typed for a source. See [number and renumber a plan](/kb/article/number-and-renumber-a-plan).
Click  **Country**. KOSMA adds a row named Country with its number, for example Country 2, and opens its name for editing. Type the name of the country. KOSMA writes it in capitals.
The new country goes directly below the country of the selected row. With no row selected, it goes to the end of the plan. To move a row later, see [copy and reorder financing rows](/kb/article/copy-and-reorder-financing-rows).
Select the country, or a row in it, and click  **Group**. KOSMA adds a row named New Group and opens its name for editing. Type the name of the group. You choose the group names yourself; KOSMA has no list of them.
The new group goes directly below the group of the selected row. If you selected the country, it goes to the end of that country.
Select a group, a source or an installment, and click  **Source**. KOSMA adds a row named New Source and selects it.
The new source goes directly below the selected source, or below the source of the selected installment. If you selected a group, it goes to the end of that group. What you enter for a source is in [what a financing source is](/kb/article/what-a-financing-source-is).
If a source pays its money in several parts, select the source or one of its installments and click  **Installment**. KOSMA opens the **Set Cash Flow Rule – Installments** dialog for that source. You add the installments in that dialog, as described in [add installments to a source](/kb/article/add-installments-to-a-source).
You cannot edit this plan, for example because your licence does not let you edit Financing, the plan was shared with you without editing access, or you are not signed in. When you point at a button, KOSMA shows the reason. If your licence does not cover Financing, it shows:
You don't have editing access to this module with your licence. Upgrade your licence — or ask your team admin, if your licence comes from a team.
